8. In case of a vacancy occurring in the Board of Trustees, the vacancy shall be filled up by a member of the Section to which the retiring member belongs.

9. The Trustees shall have power to make rules and conditions for Musafirs staying in the Musafirkhana and such other rules to regulate the satisfactory working of the affairs of the Mosque and the Cemetery provided that such rules are not contrary to Islamic Laws and usages.

10. The monthly contribution of subscription to the General Fund of Sunni members shall be % of the subscriber's monthly income, Residents of the Sunni Section declining to pay such subscription are not entitled to vote in any matter in connection with the management of the Musjid and the Cemetery.

11. The employees of the Mosque and the Cemetery shall consist of the following:----

Imam,

Muazzins or Collectors,

Coolie for the Mosque,

Ghussal for Male,

Ghussal for Female,

Coolies for the Cemetery,

The duties of the above employees are set out in the By-Laws.

By-laws.

IMAM.

The duties of the Imam shall be as follows:

(a.) To conduct daily (5 times), Juma and Idain prayers.

(b.) To perform marriage and burial services, when his services are asked for,

and to keep a register of all marriages performed by him.

(e.) To explain and advise the Community on religious subjects when called

upon.

MUAZZIN OR NAKEEB.

Their duties shall be as follows:-

(a.) To say Azan (prayer call) 5 times a day regularly.

(b) To see that the Mosque and its compound, etc., are properly kept clean by..

the coolie of the Mosque, and to keep the Musafirs under control. (c.) To serve notices of marriage, death or any other errand in connection with such matter, when requested to do so by the members of the community. (d) To remain present at the Mosque unless otherwise engaged as at (e) or

necessarily absent.

(c.) To keep Doolie Janazah in their charge and supply same as soon as applied for at the Mosque. In their absence from the Mosque this duty shall be performed by the Imam or any other employee of the Mosque in charge of or present in the Mosque.

CHUSSALS.

There shall be two Ghussals, one male and one female. The Ghussals shall render their services when required.

COOLIE OF THE MOSQUE.

His duties shall be to keep the compound and outhouses connected with the Mosque and the Musafirkhana and Imam's quarters clean and tidy.

COOKING UTENSILS,

The cooking utensils shall be kept in one of the outhouses of the Mosque and shall be under the direct control of the Trustees. Persons requiring them shall apply to the Trustees of their respective Sections who shall issue necessary instructions for their
