Approaches to the Yangtze River- Saddle Group.
Change in Character of North Saddle Light.
REFERRING to Special Notice to Mariners No. 467, notice is hereby given that on or about the 30th December, 1916, the character of the North Saddle Light will be changed.
The new illuminating apparatus will be Single Flashing, of the First Order, showing a flash every fifteen seconds.
The approximate power of the flash will be 500,000 candles.
In all other respects the particulars of this Light-station will remain as before.
The temporary light notified in Special Notice to Mariners No. 467 will be discon- tinued when the new light is exhibited.
