Woosung River Shanghai Harbour.
Gas-lighted Buoy Established.
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 19th July, 1915, a red Buoy, gas-lighted, was established to mark the western side of the channel in the vicinity of Tungkou Creek, Woosung River. The Buoy, which is to be known as the Tungkou Buoy, is moored in 12 feet of water at low water of spring tides, and exhibits an occulting white light every 8 seconds, thus:
Light,
Eclipse,
4 seconds.
From the Buoy, Tungkou Creek Powder Magazine bears N. 57° E., magnetic, distant 1,620 feet.

CHEFOO DISTRICT.
Chefoo Harbour Breakwater to be Constructed.
Buoy to be Established-Caution Regarding Dredger.
NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 1st August, 1915, dredging operations in connexion with the construction of a breakwater at Chefoo Harbour, northward from Tower Hill, will be commenced.
The Dredger will exhibit a red flag by day, and one red and one white light hoisted vertically, the red light uppermost, by night. A black Spar Buoy, surmounted by a spherical day-mark, will be moored northward of the Dredger, and vessels entering the Inner Harbour must pass to the northward of this Buoy.
CAUTION.
Mariners are warned to go at a slow speed when in the vicinity of the Dredger, and avoid interfering with the work or endangering the plant.
