Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.
Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICES TO MARINERS.
THE following reports have been received, and are published for general informa- tion:
Steep Island Pass.
A Red Nun Buoy was discovered adrift to the south of the Palmer Islands and forms a danger to shipping approaching Steep Island Pass.
Hieshan Islands.
A floating and partially submerged junk was observed in Latitude 28° 13′ N. Longitude 122° 01′ E. in the track of shipping bound up or down the coast. This obstacle was apparently drifting and constitutes a danger to shipping.

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 118.
Canton River: Chuen Pi Channel: Exhibition of Light at Sampanchow Island. NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 30th of March, 1915, a white occulting Aga light of the first order will be exhibited from a square white tower on the summit of Sampanchow Island at an elevation of about 90 feet above H. W. S. T.
The characteristics of the light are as follows :--
Light Eclipse...
0'4 seconds
36 seconds and so on.
During thick or foggy weather an acetylene fog gun will automatically detonate at intervals of 30 seconds.
