To the Marshal of Our Supreme Court of Hongkong and to all and singular his sub- stitutes, Greeting:
WHEREAS the ship Paklat, ZOLLNER, Master, and the goods, wares and merchandise Jaden therein have been seized and taken as prize by Our Ship of War Farmouth, HENRY LAKE COCHRANE, Commander, and taken to the port of Victoria, Hongkong, and а eause has been instituted on Our behalf by the Crown against the said ship, her tackle, apparel and furniture, and the goods, wares, and merchandise laden therein, for the cou- demination thereof as pries.
WE therefore command you that by affixing these presents upon the Notice Board at the Courts of Justice and by leaving affixed a true copy thereof you monish and cite all persons who have or claim to have any right, title or interest in the said ship, her tackle, apparel and furniture and the goods, wares and merchandise laden therein to enter au appearance in the Registry of Our said Court within 20 days after service of these presents and thereon to show cause why the said ship, her tackle, apparel and furniture and the said goods, wares and merchandise should not be pronounced to have belonged at the time of the capture and seizure thereof to Our enemies and as such or otherwise liable to confiscation and to be condemned as good and lawful prize.
WE further command you to warn by the means aforesaid all the said persons that if they do not enter an appearance as aforesaid the Judge of Our said Court will proceed to adjudication on the said capture and make such order therein as to him shall seem right.
GIVEN at Victoria, Hongkong, in Our said Court under the Seal thereof this 26th day of September, 1914.
