NORTH CHANNEL ENTRANCE TO THE YANGTZE.
Tsungming Crossing-Alteration in Buoyage.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in consequence of changes in the Channel across the Tsungming Banks, the following alterations in buoyage have been made :---
The First Crossing Buoy has been shifted to a position from which Dumb Beacon bears N. 74° 45′ E, and is distant 3.65 miles. The Buoy is now moored in 17 feet of water at low water of spring tides and retains its former characteristics.
The Second Crossing Gas-lighted Buoy has been shifted to a position from which Dumb Beacon bears N. 80° 10′ E., and is distant 4.3 miles. The Buoy is now moored in 19 feet of water at low water of spring tides and retains its former characteristics.
The West Spit Gas-lighted Buoy has been shifted to a position from which Bridge Beacon bears S. 86° W., and is distant 2.9 miles. The Buoy is now moored in 39 feet of water at low water of spring tides and retains its former characteristics.
All bearings given are magnetic.

Boring Operations.
NOTICE is hereby given, that Boring Operations having been started for the proposed Chefoo Breakwater, Masters of Steamers are requested to go slow, when entering the Harbour, especially when passing the cargo boats where the Boring is taking place, which will be marked by a large Red Flag by day and a Red light by night:

WITH reference to this Office Notice to Mariners No. 23 of the 10th April, 1912, it is further notified that the temporary light referred to therein, has been exhibited at the Port of Hangarcota in the South Canara district from the 19th November, 1912.
