A BILL

INTITULED

An Ordinance to authorize the Governor to borrow money for the purpose of making a gift to His Majesty's Govern- ment in the United Kingdom of sums to be expended within the Colony for purposes in aid of the prosecution of the war; and to provide for the issue of Hong Kong War Savings Certificates for this purpose and for other matters incidental thereto.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong War Savings Certificates Ordinance, 1941.

"multiple certificate " means a certificate representing any number of unit certificates as provided in sub-section (4) of section 14, and entitling the holder to receive the aggregate amount of the sums repayable in respect of that number of unit certificates;
