VICTORIA HARBOUR-NAVAL ANCHORAGE.

Mooring Buoys Established.

Details. A mooring buoy has been laid in each of the following positions :-

(a) 079° distant 700 feet from the charted position of the No. 3 buoy

and is marked 3N.

(b) 103° distant 700 feet from the charted position of the No. 3 buoy

and is marked 3S.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 300.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Fishery Research Station and Aquarium", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 28th day of July, 1941. The work consists of Site Formation, the erection of a reinforced concrete and masonry building, the construction of a Septic Tank and outfall and of a pier.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $7,500.00 with the Accountant-General.

Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at the Office of Messrs. Leigh & Orange. P. & O. Building.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
