REMOVAL OF KANAGAWA BUOY.

NOTICE is hereby given that, Kanagawa Buoy in Yokohama Harbour, has been removed

as follows:

Position :-to S. 10° E. distance 324 ft. from the former site.

Magnetic bearings taken from the buoy :--

Yokohama N. Break-Water Lighthouse,.. Juniten-bana (Mandarin Bluff),

Tower of the Custom-house,.

Depth of water about 2 fathoms at L.W.S.T.

..S. 47° 10' E.

..S. 16° 10′ E. ·

.S. 30° 10′ W.

NOTICE is hereby given that, the visible distance of Motoyama Lighted Buoy on the South point of Ubeno-misaki, Province of Nagato, has been increased into 8 nautical miles in clear weather.

A FOG SIREN ESTABLISHED AT SOYA-MISAKI LIGHTHOUSE. NOTICE is hereby given that a fog siren has been established at Soya-misaki Lighthouse on Soya-misaki, Kitami province. It will, during thick or foggy weather, give blasts of 4 Seconds' duration Separated by silent intervals of 60 Seconds, on and after November 1st, 1912, thus:-

Blast 4 Secs.

Silent interval,

60 Secs.

Blast 4 Secs.

Silent interval. 60 Secs.

MOORING OF LIGHTED WRECK-BUOY OUTSIDE OF MOJI HARBOUR.

NOTICE is hereby given that following 2 lighted buoys will be moored shortly, at each end of the stern and the bow, which shows the position of the wreck (Umegaka Maru) on the outside of Moji Harbour.

Moji-ko-gwai Lighted-Wreck-Buoy at Bow.

Moji-ko-gwai Lighted-Wreck-Buoy at Stern.

Description :-Iron frustum of Cone in shape, painted green, surmounted by a lattice- work supporting the lantern.

Height above the water :---10 ft. at L. W.

Character of light :-Pintch gas occulting green light; light 4 seconds, eclipse 2 seconds. Illuminated arc :- -The whole horizon.
