The following Order of His Majesty in Council is published for general information. This is the Order in Council referred to in Government Notification No. 614 of the 15th July, 1936.

AT THE COURT AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE,

THE 10TH DAY of July, 1936.

PRESENT,

THE KING'S MOST EXCELLENT MAJESTY IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS His late Majesty, King George the Fifth, in Council was pleased to make the following Orders (hereafter referred to as the "Treaty of Peace Orders'), namely, the Treaty of Peace (Covenant of the League of Nations) Order, 1935, the Treaty of Peace (Covenant of the League of Nations) (No. 2) Order, 1935, the Treaty of Peace (Covenant of the League of Nations) (No. 3) Order, 1935, the Treaty of Peace (Covenant of the League of Nations) (No. 4) Order, 1935, the Treaty of Peace (Covenant of the League of Nations) (Jersey) Order, 1935, and the Treaty of Peace (Covenant of the League of Nations) (Guernsey) Order, 1935:

And whereas it is provided by subsection (2) of section one of the Treaty of Peace Act, 1919, that any Order in Council made under the said Act may be varied or revoked by a subsequent Order in Council:

And whereas the Treasury have made an Order called the Clearing Office (Italy) Order, 1936, under the Debts. Clearing Offices and Import Restrictions Act, 1934:

And whereas it is expedient to revoke the Treaty of Peace Orders subject to such provisions as are hereafter contained :

Now, therefore, His Majesty by and with the advice of His Privy Council is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

Revocation

of Treaty

1.-(1) The Treaty of Peace Orders are hereby revoked as from the commencement of this Order, subject to the of Peace provisions hereafter contained in this Article.

(2) The revocation of the said Orders shall not affect- (a) the previous operation of any of the said Orders, or anything duly done or suffered under any of them; or

(b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under any of the said Orders; or
