Miscellaneous Surveys and Inspections.
19. (a) The following fees are to be charged for surveys and inspections, other than those included in and covered by the survey for a passenger certificate, if made at the request, and for the convenience of, shipowners, ship- builders, engine-builders, boiler-makers and others.
(b) For a certificate of inspection of any particular item, if required, an additional fee of $22.50 is to be charged and $7.50 for a duplicate copy or for an amended certificate when incorrect information has been supplied.
(e) These certificates are issued by the Government Marine Surveyor and not by the Surveyors who make the surveys or inspections.

Inspections of drawings of standard design of a side-scuttle, discharge valve, water- tight door, fire-resisting door or any other fittings for closing openings in the ship's sides, watertight and fire-resisting bulkheads, for each design
Inspection of fittings and equipments under the Piracy Prevention Ordinance,—when first fitted
for each subsequent inspection
Inspection of explosives magazine
Testing composition intended for sheathing
ship's decks in place of wood,—each test
