CONDITIONS OF FISHING JUNK LICENCE.

FISHING.

1. This licence is granted to the owner of the junk described therein for the purpose of carrying on the business of fishing or of supplying necessaries to those engaged in fishing and in no case shall the junk be used for any other purpose in the waters of the Colony without the permission of the Harbour Master.

2. If the licensee or the master of the junk becomes aware of the presence of pirates in or near the Harbours of Hong Kong, he must immediately report the circumstances to the Police or at the Harbour Office or nearest Harbour Master's Station.

3. The junk shall not leave the waters of the Colony or be under way within those waters (except by reason of stress of weather) without having her licence book on board.

4. This licence book is to be produced on demand to any Harbour or Police or Revenue Officer in the waters of the Colony.

5. This licence book is not transferable. It is valid only for the junk to which it is issued and to her only for so long as she remains the property of the owner named therein.

6. In the event of a change of ownership or should the junk to which this licence book is issued be lost or broken up this book if available must be returned to the Harbour Office or to the nearest Harbour Master's Station.

7. A change of master is to be reported at once and the licence book endorsed accordingly.

8. A fee of $1 will be charged for each book. Should it be lost, damaged or destroyed a new one will be issued at the Harbour Master's Office or Station and a fee of $10 will be charged.

9. The crew of the junk to which this licence book is issued shall use their utmost endeavour to save life.
