No. 813.-It is hereby notified that the following Sales of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Land Office, Beaconsfield, Hongkong, at 2.30 p.m., on Friday, the 24th day of December, 1909.

The Lots are sold for the terin of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent: Lot No. 671 as a Building Lot and Lot No. 672 as a Garden Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906 and to the special conditions hereunder specified.

The amount to be spent in rateable improvements under the General Condition No. 5 on Lot No. 671 is $250.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS.

1. The Lots shall only be used for such purposes as shall be approved by the Governor.

2. No buildings of any description shall be erected on Lot No. 672.

3. Lot No. 672 is sold subject to a right of way for all purposes and at all times for the owner of Lot No. 671, his executors, administrators, and assigns, and his and their tenants and servants, the right of way to be of such width and in such position as the Land Officer may direct.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Superintendent of Customs and the Doyen of the Consular Body have declared the Port of HANKOW to be infected.

All vessels arriving therefrom on and after Monday next, the 13th instant, are to abi by and be governed by the Sanitary Regulations for Shanghai and Woosung.
