TROUBRIDGE HILL.

Sunken Vessel “ Clan Ranald”.

REFERRING to Notice to Mariners, No. 4 of 1909, navigators are hereby informed that a Cheese-shaped Buoy, with staff and diamond, painted Green, has been placed to mark the sunken wreck of the S.S. Clan Ranall. The buoy is moored about thirty (30) fathoms south-west from the wreck in 10 fathoms of water, and the highest portion of the wreck has 24 fathoms over it at L.W.S. tides.

There is also a spar floating vertically attached to the wreck, the end of which shows about 3ft. above the surface at slack water, but disappears during the strength of the tide. The bearings from the wreck are Troubridge Hill, E. S. mag., distant about one mile. Approximate position, lat. 35° 10' S.; long. 137° 37′ É

This affects Admiralty Chart 2389a.

No. 198.-Terms of proposed Lease of Foreshore and Sea Bed, situate at Tap Mun, New Territories.

Notice is hereby given under Section 3 of the Foreshores and Sea Bed Ordinance, 1901, that it is proposed by His Excellency the Governor to grant under the said Ordinance a lease of the Foreshore and Sea Bed or Land covered by the Sea situate at Tap Mun in the New Territories, in the Colony of Hongkong, the particulars and area whereof are specified in the Schedule hereto, and the limits and Boundaries whereof are shown on a plan which is deposited and may be seen at the District Land Office, Tai Po, such Lease to be granted for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the option of renewal by the Lessee for the further term of 24 years less the last three days thereof at a re-assessed Crown Rent. The Lease to be in the usual form of Lease of Building Lots in the New Territories aud to contain a special covenant that the Lessee shall have no right of access to the Sea.

And Notice is hereby given that all persons having objections to the granting of such Lease must send their objections in writing to the Colonial Secretary before the 27th day of April, 1909, in order that the same may be duly considered by His Excellency the Governor-in-Council.
