PQ: CROWN SERVANTS IN THE DEPENDENT TERRITORIES

Please see the attached copy of a written PQ for 2 April.

I should be grateful for your answers as soon as possible. Elected members of a lower House should not be included; but elected members who are appointed Ministers should be included.

3. Some of you (Mr Kydd, Mr Davies, Miss Doig) kindly supplied last week figures of civil servants in their territories to Mr Rooney (NTD). He has passed these to me; could you now subdivide these? If this cannot be done in time, the Minister will have to write to Mr Tilley.

4. Mr Tilley is the Opposition spokesman on the Nationality Bill; he has asked the Minister if he would be able to supply the information for this afternoon's meeting of the Nationality Bill Committee. If you are able to supply the bald figures of civil servants from the Estimates before then, I should be grateful to have them.
