Having collected views from a number of General Committee Members regarding the implementation of the Chamber's Strategic Plan, I have written a simple discussion paper now enclosed for your deliberation and for discussion on Tuesday 25 May 1993.

If we decide to go ahead and implement the strategic plan, I will
recommend the establishment of an "ad hoc recruitment committee" with the following tasks to :
1 finalise the terms of reference of new Chamber Departments and the
Executive Director
2 appoint a firm of headhunters (hopefully already a member and at a
nominal fee)
3
cost the new organisation

revert by mid June the General Committee re steps 1 to 3
work with the headhuntars to product a shortlist of candidates for final interview by end July. (I would include the existing Executive Director as a candidate).
I will also propose the establishment of an "ad hoc funding committee" with the following tasks to :
prepare revised cost and income projections assuming we implement the strategic plan
