We advised Farrell in general terms of the type of security doors which will be supplied from the UK and their likely locations. Farrell raised several issues which will need further advice from Security Department, TSD and ISD and we agreed to provide, as soon as possible, clarification of:-

Security door requirements for 8th and 9th floors (including bag keep) and between 7th and 8th floors: Farrell would prefer wooden steel lined doors for the entrances to the 8th floor.

Airlock and detector. location at the ground floor entrance: Farrell asked if sliding electrical doors are acceptable.

Access control requirements from main reception (First Floor) to "Staff" lift lobby: in view of the security controls at ground floor level a single electrically controlled door may be adequate.

The Mechanical and electrical requirements for SOR items B19 (a) and B22.

The requirements for security/access control systems throughout the building (including CCTV coverage), Public address systems and telephones and whether these should be commercially supplied as part of the main contract.
