1. You will have seen a copy of Mr Ricketts' submission to Mr Goodlad dated 8 January on this subject. Miss Brooks has asked me to amend further the draft recording our preferred version of the PTG Special Condition 14. I attach a copy of the version submitted on 8 January, showing the amendment in paragraph b; inserting "of a similar standard" on line 5 in between "premises" and "including".

If you or Miss Brooks have any further thoughts on what should be included in this preferred version, I would be grateful if you could now let me have them. Presumably we will be putting this to Hong Kong if our submission is approved and we will want to act as quickly as possible.
