As to the separate note concerning the Hong Kong legal system referred to in paragraph 8 of Mr Macgregor's fax, would you like us to assist in the drafting of this document? There are certain matters which relate specifically to the facts of this particular case and to the state of the proceedings relating to Saniman's co-accused of which you may not be aware. We feel that these are matters which should be included in the note.

The Attorney General wishes to review progress after the completion of the French Election on the 28th March.
