BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND AND THE

REPUBLIC OF AUSTRIA AMENDING THE AGREEMENT

OF 3 APRIL 1968 REGARDING THE ABOLITION OF VISAS

I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that the authorities of the Isle of Man have decided to issue their own passports.

(2) The United Kingdom wish to apply to the holders of the said passports the Agreement between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic, of Austria for the Abolition of Visas constituted by the Exchange of. Notes of the 3rd of April, 1968.(')

(3) I now have the honour to propose, on the instructions of Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, that the words

Isle of Man be inserted after the words "Guernsey and its Dependencies" in sub-paragraph (1)(a)(i) of the said Agreement.

or

(4) If the foregoing proposal is acceptable to the Republic of Austria, I have the honour to suggest that this Note together with Your Excellency's reply to that effect shall constitute an Agreement between the two Contracting States supplementing the said Agreement of the 3rd of April, 1968, and shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the Exchange of Notes.
