Application of principal Act.

Short title and CONFIDENCEment.

British Nationality (Hong Kong)

have been a British citizen “otherwise than by descent” unless, but for that

become Disick registration, that person would have be a British citizen "hy descent” only under subsection (1) of this section.

3. The provisions of Parts I and V of the principal Act shall apply to this Act as they apply to that Act.

4-(1) This Act may be cited as the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1994.

(2) This Act shall come into force two calendar months after Royal Assent,
