5.I shall not be taking a decision on whether to visit China until mid or late February. It is possible that I may decide to go to Peking independently of the Easter visit to the Far East. On the other hand if I do not find time to do this it may be necessary to devote/days in the middle of the Easter trip to Peking/Hong Kong. A further possibility is that I might meet Qian Qichen somewhere else.
