1. I believe the South Korean Foreign Minister held talks in Bangkok Last week with his Chinese counterpart, in the course of an ESCAP meeting. I gather too that the Chinese Foreign Minister is to pay an official visit to Korea in June.
2. It would be helpful, not only with North Korean nuclear issues in mind, to have an update, at your convenience, on how South Korea - China relations are developing. The Korean Embassy were telling us recently how they are really cutting back their Consulate General staff in Hong Kong now that they have relations with China.
