The Central Authority of the Requested Side may ask the Central Authority of the Requesting side to provide any further information which appears to it to be necessary for the purpose of executing the request.

The Requested Side will maintain the confidentiality of a request except to the extent necessary for its execution.

EXECUTION OF REQUESTS

The Requested Side will take whatever steps appear to it to be necessary to give effect to a request received from the Requesting Side and will respond to the request as soon as practicable after it has been received.

The execution of a request

will be in accordance with the domestic law of the Requested Side. The Central Authority of the Requested Side will: promptly inform the Central Authority of the Requesting Side of any circumstances which are likely to cause a significant delay in responding to the request; promptly inform the Central Authority of the Requesting Side of the outcome of the request. If the request is denied, whether by the Central Authority or by judicial or administrative action, the Central Authority of the Requested Side will inform the Central Authority of the Requesting Side of the reasons for the denial; and promptly inform the Central Authority of the Requesting side of any circumstances including any action taken in the Courts of the Regnested Side which may affect the request or its execution or which may make it inappropriate to proceed with giving effect to it.
