Hong Kong have amended their consultation paper in the light of your advice on para 4 (c) (my letter of 30 September attached). Subject to our agreement, they have decided to amend para 6 (a), for the Chief Executive in Council to make orders recognising overseas adoption orders. I enclose a copy of the revised consultation paper and of David Chin's letter.

2. I would be grateful for any comments you may have by 21 October.
