Petar Rickette has now spoken to John Yaxley on this matter It is their opinion that a human rights related sponsored visit is probably, a low priority both for us and for Hong Kong, and they would rather the sponsored visi place was given to Mr Mortimer, the new Under Secretary at the TreasuXY. He would be grateful if you could consider this option instead.
