If the mutual interference problem could still not be solved for traffic in some transponders after taking the above two measures, the party that did not change its polarization (both sides if necessary) should lower its (their) transmitting powers, offset the frequencies of the emissions or take other practical measures in order to reduce interference.
If the agreed C/I criteria could still not be met after taking the above three measures, both sides would accept a lower C/I criteria to be mutually agreed.
Specific applications of the above measures would be decided by expert groups of both sides at an appropriate time.
By adopting the measures in the suminary record, both sides considered that coordination agreement of the DFH-3-OB and AsiaSat-E had been achieved.
6. Point 5 would also be applied to the coordination between DFH-3-OB (103°E) and AsiaSat-1 (already in orbit) of the UK at 105 5°E.
7. The UK indicated to China that after Hong Kong returned to China in 1997 the notifying administration for the frequency assignments of all AsiaSat satellites would be changed from the UK to China. China noted the indication made by the UK.
