1. Return of human remains and belongings that may have been recovered by

the Soviet Government.

1.1 The Korean, American, and Japanese Families Associations ("The KAL

887 Bereaved Families") greatly appreciate the efforts of the

Russian Government to discover human remains and personal belongings.

The KAL 887 Bereaved Families still cannot eliminate the possibility

that some recovered human remains and personal belongings exist.

Therefore, we sincerely urge the Russian Covernment to continue their

efforts to find and return recovered human remains and personal

belongings.

2. Ex Gratia gesture by the Government of Russia

2.1 The KAL 807 Bereaved Families declare that ex gratia gestures from

the Russian Government are appropriate.

The KAL 887 Bereaved Families support the efforts of their govern-

ments to negotiate with the government of Russia regarding ex gratia

gestures.
