The sum of ratios of the measured activity concentrations of Sr-90, I-131, Cs-134, and Cs-137 to their respective DILs should not exceed unity in accordance with para. 509 of IAEA Safety Series No.81.
As the measurement of Sr-90 takes a much longer time, and the results are not readily available, co-ordination and decisions on control measures taken by both sides are to be based on the control standards for I-131, Cs-134, and Cs-137 before the results of Sr-90 are available.

Radiation Monitoring of Food Supplied to Hong Kong During Normal Times
Guangdong side: samples for monitoring will be taken by the Guangdong Commodities Inspection Bureau, a body responsible for the inspection of exported foods, of the food exported from the ingestion emergency planning zones of the Guangdong Nuclear Power Station as a part of its normal business.

Hong Kong side: to be monitored by Department of Health and the Agriculture and Fisheries Department.
