everything that we can do in respect of issues beyond the
scope of the Conventions. I would like to express again
our hope that your side would be able to give a definite
and positive response as soon as possible on the question
of confidentiality of the confidential information
(classified intelligence) to be exchanged (or alternatively
known as the scope of use of the information exchanged) in
off-site emergencies at the Guangdong Nuclear Power
Station. As regards the specific provisions and wording,
these may be discussed.
Your side have agreed to hold a second delegation
meeting. I believe that you have already noted that such a
meeting will be held upon your side's having given a
positive and definite response on the question of
confidentiality (the question of the scope of use of the
information exchanged between the two sides). I have also
noted that your side "are prepared to put forward
constructive and useful suggestions" in respect of the
question of confidentiality.
