Hong Kong/Germany Investment Promotion and

Protection Agreement (IPPA)

Please find enclosed at Annex A a copy of the draft German text of the above Agreement. I would be grateful if you could pass the draft text to the translation branch of your office for their comments. The initialled Hong Kong/Germany IPPA was sent to Mr Ricketts on 16.10.92. Please note that the German side has proposed two small linguistic amendment to Articles 1 (4) and 7(1) respectively of the initialled text (see Annex B) and these proposed changes might have been reflected in the draft German text.
