I attach the English and German language versions of the initialled text of the above agreement. I would be grateful if you could compare the versions and let us have any comments which you may have. As you can see from Dr Zimmer's letter to Mr Edwards, the Germans have suggested two alterations to the text. These alterations are included in the German text and I have marked them in the English text.

2. Grateful if possible for a reply by the end of August.

3. Hong Kong Government will pay the translation costs.
