Amend the Copyright Ordinance

TO

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1.

Short title

This Ordinance may be cited as the Copyright (Amendment)

Ordinance 1993.

2.

Transmission of authorized broadcasts

by a diffusion service

Section 4 of the Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 32) is repealed.

3.

The following is added after section 3 -

"4A.

Application to cable television, etc.

The law relating to-copyright, in Hong Kong is amended--as-

set out in Schedule 2.

4.

Consequential amendments

The provisions of the Copyright Ordinance listed in the

Schedule to this Ordinance are amended as set out in that Schedule.
