1. During my time in London for JLG 6-10 December, there should be slots available for calls. I did not call on the Secretary of State before taking up my posting (a series of provisional dates were cancelled). If there were a chance to remedy that I would be glad to do so, but fully recognise that his diary is likely to be full. I shall see Mr Goodlad at his drinks on 7 December and his dinner for the JLG on 8 December.

2. I would welcome calls on Sir J Coles, Hum, HKD and FED, possibly on morning of 6 December, or afternoon of 7-8 December (bearing in mind press conference on 9 December). I should definitely see PMD (Eyre-Wilson, to discuss successor for my PA). Other suggestions from HKD gladly considered.
