I am writing to confirm the details of my telephone discussion with Security Department on 19 November concerning the security and administrative preparations for the meeting of the Sino-British Joint Liaison Group to be held in the FCO from 7-9 December 1993.

2. I would like to book all-day parking spaces at the Ambassador's Entrance on 7, 8 & 9 December for the Chinese Ambassador's car (Reg. No. 135D249) and the Chinese delegation minibus. The minibus will be Reg. No. 135D248 a 21 seater.

3. I would be most grateful if you could prepare 31 old style "y" passes to be available at the Ambassador's Entrance from 8.30am on the mornings of 7, 8 & 9 December.

4. It would be helpful if you could confirm the above arrangements to me in writing. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
