As promised on Wednesday, I am writing to update you on the administrative arrangements for JLG XXVIII.

Heathrow Airport

I confirm that we have booked the Spelthorne VIP Suite for the Chinese delegation, who will be arriving on BA 28 at 04.45 hrs on Sunday 5 December. The booking reference numbers

are:

30/099738 in the name of Ambassador Guo Fengmin 30/099739 in the name of Mr Luo Jiahuan

It has not been our practice in recent years for British Representatives to meet the Chinese delegation on arrival at the airport. Mr Davies and the other British Representatives will welcome Ambassador Guo at 9.00 am on Tuesday 7 December at the Ambassador's Entrance to the FCO.

The Spelthorne Suite has also been booked for the departure of the Chinese delegation, on BA 27 at 21.25 hrs on Sunday 12 December. The booking reference numbers are:

As I mentioned on Wednesday, it is necessary to send a fax to Heathrow Security giving the names of those people who will go to greet the delegation, the cars and their drivers.
