Reports on. the activities of the Labour Advisory Board are published biennually. The report contained information on the work of the Board, including activities of the Committee on the Implementation of International Labour Standards. Copies of the latest report covering the years 1989-1990 were sent to the ILO in May 1991. The question of issuing an annual report on the working of the procedures provided for in this convention was considered by the committee at its meeting on 15 June 1978. The committee considered that such a report would have very limited circulation and it was possible to keep the Labour Advisory Board fully informed of the proceedings of the committee by means of regular progress reports prepared for
for the Board. Therefore no such annual reports have been issued.

Application of the administrative arrangements giving effect to convention is entrusted to the Commissioner for Labour, who is also the ex-officio chairman of the Labour Advisory Board. The Deputy Commissioner for Labour, is the ex-officio chairman of the Committee on the Implementation of International Labour Standards. Please refer to the answer to Question II for more details.

Copies of this report have been sent to the Labour Advisory Board which employers' organisations and trade unions are represented and, through the United Kingdom Department of Employment, to the Confederation of British Industry and the Trades Union Congress of Great Britain. No observations regarding the application of this convention in Hong Kong received to date from any organisations of employers or workers. during the period under review.
