Compliance data only needs to be submitted to UNEP by 31 March 1993 by those countries who have not yet ratified the 1987 Protocol to exempt them from trade controls on the five original CFCS and halons until the 5th meeting of the Parties. Trade difficulties with the Dependent Territories should only arise therefore, if the London Amendment is not ratified on their behalf before 10 August.
