According to preliminary estimation feasibility study, it requires about RMB¥ 10 billion to finance the whole project. The sum will be financed by the Zhuhai Municipal Government (attracting foreign capital through the issuing of stocks and bonds), and the payback period will be around 10 years.

The feasibility study for the project had earlier been completed and was assessed in mid-March.
