The Secretary of State has seen Sara Everett's submission of 21 January.

The Secretary of State would be happy for you to offer the following as his contribution to Mr Tim Heald's piece on Mr Brian Redhead:

As the years

"He is thoroughly professional. passed he became less interested in the ordinary nitty-gritty of current affairs, and more caught up in the history and the ideas lying behind each of our little dramas. It is a pleasure to be interviewed by him if you are feeling alert- and best to do it face to face, not remote in a radio car.
