Ms Diane Francis' Request to Interview the Governor

Thank you for your letter of 28 January. This presents us with a problem. We cannot be sure that Mr. Patten will be back in the office on 15 February as we hope. If he needs more time to recover he will not be available during the period 15 17 February. Even if

if he is back at work 15 February, it will be very difficult to find ૩ slot in his diary. Regrettably, I think we have to say that the Governor will not be able to give Diane Francis the interview. I am sorry to disappoint her. Perhaps some other time.
