Dear Mr Hurd
Thank you for your letter of December 9, and I am delighted you have agreed to my interview request.
I see this will take place at a particularly appropriate time, coinciding with the introduction of legislation on the 1995 elections to the Legislative Council.
However, since a written interview lacks the personal touches and immediacy so effective in getting any message. across, can I ask if it can instead be a face to face interview, with a written list of questions/subject areas submitted in advance, and a photographer also present?
I would attach great importance to such an interview and, as measure of this, be inclined to send a reporter over to London especially for it.
a
Hoping this is possible.
Yours sincerely,
Peter Lynch EDITOR
