Buckingham students should not be penalised by the loss of their LEA awards when they have had the initiative to secure a scholarship from a company or similar body to cover the balance of Buckingham's tuition fees not covered by LEA mandatory grants.

Buckingham students should be entitled to the same total loans from the Student Loan Company over the course of two years as students at other universities receive over the course of three.

Hong Kong students at Buckingham should be eligible under the Joint United Kingdom - Hong Kong Government's Funding scheme, from which they are presently excluded.
