I have the honour to inform you that the informal Development Centre seminar on "Democratisation and Modernisation in China", to be given by Dr. Gao Xian, Secretary-General of the Chinese Center for Third World Studies, has been rescheduled. Originally planned for Tuesday, 6th April 1993 at 10 a.m. at the Development Centre, this seminar will now take place on Wednesday, 7th April 1993 at 3 p.m. in the Roger Ockrent Room of the Château de la Muette.

This change of date and venue has been made in order to allow interested DAC Representatives who will be attending, on the 6th and morning of the 7th April, the Informal Meeting on General Orientations for Donor Approaches to Democratic Development, Human Rights and Military Expenditure, to take part also in Dr. Gao's seminar if they wish.
