LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OATH

I

declare that I am qualified for

office as a member of the Legislative Council of the HKSAR and

swear that I will uphold the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special

Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and all

other laws of the Region.

I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the Hong

Kong Special Administrative Region.

I acknowledge that, in conscientiously upholding the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, I will support the "one country, two systems" principle and will dedicate myself to ensuring the long term stability and prosperity of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

I solemnly undertake, in accordance with the law of the

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, not to engage in activities whose objective is to subvert the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China.

I will conscientiously and truly serve the people of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as a member of the Legislative Council. So help me God.
