Electoral Provisions) (Amendment) Ordinance 1990 (84 of 1990) as it relates to the bringing into force of that section (other than for the purpose only of enabling arrangements to be made for the holding of an election in 1991 for all the elected Members of the Legislative Council in respect of functional constituencies) or as amended or replaced thereafter with the written approval of the Chief Secretary.
References in the second column of items 10 (c) and 12(b) of Part II of this Schedule to an entitlement to vote at a general meeting of the body specified in that column shall be construed as references to such entitlement as determined in accordance with the constitution, rules or articles of association of such body in force at the commencement of section 64 of the Electoral Provisions (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance 1993 ( of 1993)
as it relates to the bringing into force of Part II of this Schedule or as amended or replaced thereafter with the written approval of the Chief Secretary.
An officer of a trade union specified in the second column of item 11 of Part II of this Schedule is not entitled to be registered as an elector in the Labour functional constituency unless that trade union has been registered under the Trade Unions Ordinance (Cap. 332) for at least 1 year immediately before that officer applies for registration as such an elector, and for the purpose of this Note, each trade union shall not have more than 4 of its officers registered as electors in the Labour functional constituency.
"Relevant persons"
(a) in relation to a member of a body specified in the
second column of Part II of this Schedule, means
(i) in the case where the member is a limited company, the members of the board of directors of that company;
(ii)
(iii)
(iv)
in the case where the member is a partnership, the partners of that partnership;
in the case where the member is a sole proprietorship, the sole proprietor of that proprietorship;
in the case where the member is an organization or body (other than a limited company, partnership or sola
proprietorship), the members of the
management or executive committee (however described) of that organization or body;
