Dr Yeung is an elected member for the Hong Kong
Island West Constituency. He is Vice Chairman of the
United Democrats of Hong Kong, Chairman of the Joint
Committee on the Promotion of Democratic Government and a
former Chairman of Meeting Point.

Perhaps the most impressive of the new
directly-elected members of LegCo. UDHK spokesman on
constitutional affairs and welfare, he seems to be one of those who holds the party together and bridges the gap between the middle-class professionals such as Martin Lee
and the grass-roots activists like Lau Chin-shek. A
member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong
Alliance in support of the Patriotic Democratic Movement
in China.
