As you know, we have been giving some thoughts might accommodate the Chinese side's insistence that Hong Kong NPC deputies and representatives of Hong Kong CPPCC members should be given seats on the 4th sector of the EC as of right, if that is necessary to clinch a deal on the whole package of electoral arrangements (incl. the "through train").
