(b) in subsection (2), by repealing "functional".

Section substituted

Section 14 is repealed and the following substituted

"14. Restriction on registration

-

(1) A person entitled to be registered in the election

committee constituency and in a functional constituency shall

only be registered in the election committee constituency and

not in any functional constituency.

(2)

Notwithstanding subsection (1), a person entitled to

be registered in the election committee constituency, and who

but for this subsection is otherwise entitled to be registered

in a functional constituency specified in Part I of Schedule 2,

shall only be registered in that functional constituency and

not in the election committee constituency.

(3) Subject to subsections (1) and (2), a person entitled

to be registered in more than one functional constituency shall

be registered in one such constituency only, of that person's

choice, except that

(a)

a person entitled to be registered in the

functional constituency specified in item 1 of

Part I of Schedule 2, and who but for this

paragraph is otherwise entitled to be registered

in another functional constituency of that

person's choice, shall only be registered in the

first-mentioned functional constituency and not

in that other functional constituency;
