1. In Mr Fry's absence, I have looked at the proof copy of the Minutes of Evidence. I can find only two errors in the parts dealing with China and Taiwan:

- p. 32, Mr Goodlad's response to Mr Sumberg should read "our exports there have gone up 72 per cent in the first five months...

-

p.34, first line should omit the word "treaty".
